The LA Coroner announced yesterday that the young actor, Corey: Haim, who was age 38 when he died, March 10, 2010, died of pneumonia complications, not from a drug over dose which the media shrills screamed was the cause of his death.

The press and the press hounds are always ready to trash, are ever racing to trash, rather than to stop and consider. When Corey Haim died, the media was pumped up in over drive, peddling false tales that he OD'ed. Talking heads where everywhere, especially on cable, all beating the same rotten tune on the same rotten drum, trashing a dead man, and speaking as badly as him as they could. A star, especially an ex-child star, dying from drugs was more sexy to them than a man dying from pneumonia, or some other natural cause. The media couldn't wait for the Coroner's report. A young man who hit success early, not only had to fall, but fail.  Perhaps the cost of fame is that every idiot in the world gets a free chance to trash mouth the famous,  and the trashing doesn't stop at the death, or for that matter at the exoneration of a famous person. The famous are presumed eternally guilty, and facts can not establish their innocence only provide the idiot class with an opportunity to continue ...
