If I asked you what the best album of the 1980s was, there are a lot of different answers you could give, right? Personally, I know my two favorite picks are probably pretty standard, but I don't care. Springsteen's Born in the USA was one of the best albums of all time, let alone the 1980s, and Jackson's Thriller was groundbreaking and incredible.
That said, the 80s saw the release of so many fantastic albums. Back in Black? We haven't had an album released even half as good since. From Joshua Tree to Purple Rain to Appetite for Destruction, there's no shortage of incredible 1980s albums. I almost added Rumors to my favorites, but that was a few years before the 80s!
