Fans of the 80s are going gaga over Tiffany's reboot of her 1980s version of "I Think We're Alone Now," which has been given a modern update that sounds more like a clubbing song than its original mall tune. Is it as good as the original? Does any Gen Xer or Millennial really even care? It's giving us the kind of nostalgia vibes that give us waves of joy and it's got us hoping for a bunch of other 80s reboots.
Tiffany never really went away, of course. We've seen her in everything from magazines to reality TV show, and she's continued to make albums. But she's in the spotlight once again, making us all wish we could see her perform in a mall near us, and she looks and sounds absolutely amazing. I still like the original hit better, but I'm digging the new one, too, and I think it's great that she's banking on the current nostalgia wave.
What do you think of Tiffany's song reboot? What other 80s song reboots do you hope to hear (or which ones do you hate)? Share your thoughts in the chat.
